WV11.co.uk hosts "PACT Live”, an online Q&A session with Police, LNP and Wolverhampton Homes
Wednesfield’s volunteer-run community news website WV11.co.uk is hosting an innovative online event on Thursday 13th October which will allow local residents to put questions to representatives from West Midlands Police, Wolverhampton Homes and the Wolverhampton Partnership (LNP) from the comfort of their own homes. The question and answer session takes place at www.wv11.co.uk/live from 7pm on Thursday 13th October and gives residents the opportunity to put questions about local issues directly to the organisations responsible for their area.Guests will include Sergeant Simon Causer, Neighbourhood Police Sergeant for Wednesfield, Mark Henderson, Director of housing for Wolverhampton Homes and Simon Hamilton and Sue Lindup of Wednesfield & Fallings Park LNP.WV11 co-founder Steph Jennings said “We are hoping that this event will appeal to residents who are unable to take part in the traditional PACT meetings which are held at community centres on week nights.“Often people who would like to have their say on local issues are unable to attend meetings due to having young children or work commitments - our online event will allow these people to take part from home.”Sgt Simon Causer added: “We are always looking at ways to engage with the public and an online event is a great way of doing this.”The event is due to run from 7pm - 8:30pm and will allow residents to submit questions that will be answered live ‘on air’ by the guests in a chat room at www.wv11.co.uk/live.Notes to Editors:
