Arbor Lights

My band, Arbor Lights is an instrumental four-piece from Birmingham, England. After meeting up in a bar, my youngest brother Alex (guitar), Greg (bass), and Matt (guitar) decided to form a band around July of 2010. They needed a drummer and whilst I’d not played in a band for a couple of years, I agreed to go and rehearse with them and see how it went. We all hit it off and decided to start writing and rehearsing then and there.

Since then we have gigged around our home town (and occasionally further afield) with the likes of The Cape Of Good Hope, Killer Yogi and God Damn, released a single called ‘On A Sea’ in May 2011, recorded our self titled EP with my cousin Michael Clarke at the helm and picked up the following nice words along the way:

“Beautiful. Love it. Absolutely love it.” – Paul Connop, The Jaccals

“Arbor Lights bring out my favourite drumbeat. They combine warm, chin-stroke-worthy riffs with ear-offending feedback. I like.” http://twitter.com/#!/whoopscareless

“I hate pausing the music I`m listening to, to hear something else. Your song is totally worth it.” – http://twitter.com/#!/winterchillz
