Frustrated by not being able to subscribe to planning alerts on Wolverhampton City Council’s planning website, I have taken Openly Local’s data feed and fed it into Twitter to create @WolvesPlanning.
This means that whenever a new planning application is entered on the Council’s planning portal, Openly Local picks it up and it’s posted to the @WolvesPlanning Twitter account.
In an ideal world we should have both RSS Feeds for postcodes and email alerts for planning applications, but this should do the trick for now.
