Into The Wild
‘Into The Wild’ is a film directed by Sean Penn, based on the book of the same name which chronicled the true life story of Christopher McCandless - a young American who chose to forgo the comforts of modern life and attempt to live off the land in Alaska, with little experience and even less equipment. He died trying. The soundtrack to the film has been written and performed by Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder and is available soon.
I found out about this film and Christopher’s story due to Vedder being involved with the soundtrack and found myself intrigued by the story. I’m looking forward to seeing the film when it’s released in cinemas and with any luck the UK release won’t be far behind the US one. Hopefully the film won’t be quite as cheesy as the trailer…
