So the government have finally set a date for the UK smoking ban; July 1st 2007! This means no more pubs/gigs full of people smoking. No more choking, and no more stinging eyes. No more going home with clothes and hair stinking of other people’s smoke. Hooray!
Once it’s operational, I shall be adding the ’shop a smoker’ hotline number to my phone so I can report smokers / venues breaking the new law. “Respect mah authority!”

shop a smoker, what eva. How sad is that to report a business or someone who’s smoking in a pub. GET A LIFE. remember, it used to be a free country
Well, it is actually still a free country! This ban means those of us who wish not to have our lungs polluted by smoker when in public areas are now free to do so. Our freedom is choice, the choice to not have someone else forcibly endanger our health.
