I can’t think of a witty title today.
Man I feel busy. I seem to always have something to do, somewhere to be…something planned. It’s nice – I’d much rather be rushed off my feet than bored, so I’m not complaining. The end of March/beginning of April is going to be mental, especially the 4th-9th, I’ve got something on every day/night and it’s in a different part of the country every night….not good for the bank balance!
The last couple of weeks have been very good. I don’t really have anything else to say, other than that I’m addicted to the new Secret Machines album and stupidly looking forward to the new Pearl Jam album.
Oh and I have about a million DVDs to watch and books to read as well as albums to listen to…but I never seem to have time to do any of them. I must find more time from somewhere…oh and everyone watch ‘My Name Is Earl’ at 9pm, C4 on Fridays – it rules!
Stop! Bloggertime!
MC Hammer has a blog!

Worldwide Suicide

I’m not going to rant about how much I love Pearl Jam, and how they’re one of my favourite bands of al time, or how every musician in a band should be aspiring to have a career that mirrors theirs, because I’m sure I’ve done it before.
What I will say though, is if you only know the early Pearl Jam and thought they disappeared when all the Grunge hype did, make sure you DOWNLOAD THEIR NEW SINGLE FOR FREE HERE and listen to it.
They are an amazing band, who have stood the test of time (as well as the ’scene’ they were associated with dying and a number of other catastrophic events) and they’re about to release their 8th studio album. Ask yourself how many other bands do you like who’re still going after that many albums? So put your 90’s prejudices aside for a minute and check out ‘Worldwide Suicide’!
It’s me again.
I haven’t blogged for ages. There’s been loads going on, which is why I’ve not blogged I suppose (this is sounding like deja vu from my previous post, although I’ve not read it since I posted it).
I’ve spent the last two weekends away from my computer, which has been quite liberating. I love my computer and would be lost without it (and unemployed!), but sometimes it’s easy to lose hours, sometimes days without realising it while you’re sat in front of the screen, so it’s been nice to be away from it – or just not using it. In fact this weekend I checked my email on my phone a couple of times and had loads of new emails and was confused because I don’t get that many emails at the weekend. Then I realised I do, but I get them the minute they’re delivered and read them then and there when I’m sitting in front of the computer for hours on end – so it just doesn’t seem like I get as many as I do on weekdays!
A couple of days after my last blog post, I celebrated my 25th Birthday (we went out on the 25th Feb, my birthday is the 28th). I managed to get nearly all of my nearest and dearest friends in the same place at one time and I had such a good day/night – it was probably the best birthday I’ve ever had, which is funny considering you tend to put less importance on the birthdays the older you get. I don’t know what made this one so special, I just had a great time and it seemed like everyone else did, so that was really cool. Great friends, great food and great drink. Great birthday.
That was over a week ago now and I’m not exactly sure what’s happened since….I’m very excited about the upcoming new Pearl Jam album and prospects of them touring in the UK….I saw Death Cab For Cutie on Thursday who were brilliant – everything I hoped for, and more, I got to catch up with the Lincoln massive too which was nice. I spent the last weekend at Steph’s, which was thoroughly enjoyable as ever – we did lots of nothing, and had fun doing it. I got home this morning aided by Vanilla Latte, it saved my life!
I feel like I’m rambling now and this isn’t a very well constructed entry so I shall end it here and now! All I will add is that if you want to hear a brilliant new album, check out ‘Ten Silver Drops’ by Secret Machines – it’s awesome!
Oh and I’m going to see the Foo Fighters in Hyde Park – can’t wait!
The End.
