True Crown Foundation Songs

Yesterday I discovered that this beauty ^^^ was finally a reality! The new Sony Ericsson P990, which comes out in 2006. This is everything I wanted in a phone last April so it’s nice to see that a year later SE have got their act together! I was forced to buy a Nokia because they didn’t have anything suitable available when I upgraded. But I’m saving my pennys up for this bad-boy, it’s going to be amazing! /geek
I’m currently listening to the hard rockin’ sounds of ‘The Lucky Nine’ - a friend’s band. I’ve known Richie who plays drums for a few years and he rocks like a bastard when it comes to drumming. He’s a world class rock drummer. The Lucky Nine consists of him, Colin Doran (the singer from Hundred Reasons), Dan Carter (the bass player from ‘A’) and a couple of other chaps. Their debut album (this entry’s title) is a seriously hard rocking, hardcore rock album. Pretty heavy, but with lots of melody too - just how I like it! I’m really digging it. Definitely one for Hundred Reasons fans - something a bit heavier….and with a much better drummer!
So since last week I took my little bro to see ‘A’ in Wolves. They were pretty good, I’m not massively into them but they’re a good live band. Had a quiet weekend, which was ok…watched ‘Full Metal Jacket’ one night.
Monday night was Mike’s birthday so we went out for some very nice food and a few drinks, which was nice. On Tuesday I went out with Jo as she’s visiting from Manchester, went to see new British comedy ‘Kinky Boots’ which is about a guy who reluctantly takes over his dead Father’s failing shoe making factory in Northampton. While trying to figure out how to keep this 100 year old family business going in the modern-day market without laying off all the staff he has an encounter with a Drag Queen in London, which ends up with him employing the Drag Queen to design ‘kinky’ women’s boots that are sturdy enough for men (Drag Queens) to wear. Some of it was a bit predictable, but it was pretty funny…it had the guy who plays Sean’s best mate in ‘Sean Of The Dead’ and he’s great in this too. The guy who plays the Drag Queen is really good too, as is the main character. Worth a watch, not the kind of thing you need to see at the cinema…
Tonight England are playing Poland, so I shall be in front of the TV watching the Football. Hopefully we can win and finish top of the group, and that might shut the stupid English sports press up!
Tomorrow I’m off to see Bloc Party at The Academy in Brum and I’m really quite looking forward to it, hopefully they’ll be as good as I’ve seen them on TV…digging their new single ‘Two More Years’ - really good tune.
On Friday I may be going to see a new band called ‘The Feeling’ who lots of people are talking about. They’re freinds or friends and are playing locally, so I’ll hopefully catch them.
Busy busy.

That phone looks LUSH! Mmm. I’m still holding out for an upgrade to the k750 line, because I could never afford one of them PDA-like phones.
