Brain Of J.
My computer is back. Lot's of things that had stopped working on it's previous incarnation (including the ability to watch DVDs & listen to music!) now work again and this has made me very happy. I can now spend even more hours sat in front of it! I jest you not. I am still having problems retrieving data from my old drive, which is a worry because there's nothing *wrong* with it, Windows just won't assign it a drive letter and thus Iam not able to get stuff off it. But I've decided to be patient and hopefully that will pay off, as opposed to rushing and risking losing everything.
This week I have become hooked on a highly addictive substance called 'Pearl Jam'. I seem to be talking about them a lot here, but they are just the best band in the world, ever. This I have decided. I've watched the 'Live at The Garden' and 'Touring Band' DVDs in the last couple of days on my computer and I will die if they don't tour here soon, there's no doubt about this.
Other than getting my fix of Pearl Jam I've been dealing with email backlogs and other such interesting things. Today Tesco.com delivered the weekly food shop - I like doing grocery shopping online, no old people with trolleys to avoid! And it's always interesting to see what those crazy bastards at tesco turn up with as substitutes for the items your ordered that they don't have. I think they must have competitions in the warehouse to see who can get away with the weirdest thing without a supervisor knowing.
Speaking of food - all the major news outlets have been talking about this amazing fight between a giant Python and an Alligator. The Python managed to swallow the Alligator whole, but then it's stomach exploded! Take that you greedy Python! They seem to think the Alligator might have managed to scratch the Python's insides open with it's claws as it wabeing eaten! It's amazing! And you can read all about it and SEE THE PHOTO here.
I think that's everything for now...check out my new friend Tiff's blog here, she and her friends from Houston, TX are CRAZY!
