The room I am sitting in resembles Amazon.com’s dispatch warehouse. Only smaller. Yes, the great Imogen Heap CD dispatch machine is still going! No matter how many CDs we stuff into jiffy bags, labels we stick to jiffys, and complete orders we box up….more orders keep coming in via email! This is of course a bittersweet thing. On one had it’s GREAT that Immi is selling so many CDs and yes, she is paying me well for doing this. However on the other…the monotony can get a little depressing after a while! Going into auto-pilot is not an option, incase you put a package going to one postal zone in the wrong box, this could cause catasrophic results! We seem to have a fairly good system up and running now, but however good your system, there’s always the select few who are too dumb to even follow that system. I’m refusing to answer dumb emails. Sigh.

Had a good band meeting this evening, very laid back, but we’ve got some great ideas and made some plans. Stay tuned!

I spotted an amusing story posted on the blog of someone who’s a member of Moblog UK today, as I said - I found it pretty amusing and you can read it here!

There was another ’story’ I heard via the internet last night about someone I know that I didn’t find so amusing….in fact it really fucked me off. It would appear now that it was all a mistake (or at least that’s what the person telling said ’story’…read: rumour, is trying to make out, possibly to cover their back), so I guess it’s best just left alone.

Today I have mostly been listening to The Police and Arcade Fire…both of whom are VERY different and VERY good! Arcade Fire apparently just bought a church in their hometown in Canada to record their next album in. Sounds like a cool idea!

This blog is beginning to take shape - there’s still some things I need to fix/edit/add etc. but I’m going to have to do it when I have more time on my hands, tomorrow I have another 750 CDs arriving…..
